If skins are available through the steam workshop does that necissarily mean they are free of glitches causing the game to be booted back to the desktop?

I'm sort of able to play the game with the controller but the game doesn't detect it and it isn't showing up in the controller options. I don’t know if it’s just me or if i have an issue but i cannot get my acceleration to work correctly on my xbox one controller while playing on my pc. Will american truck simulator make me happy, or angry?
Had the same problem but i just set it up again and it is working fine now. I later deleted the global controllers in the ats folder as well as the controls in my profile. Xbox 360 and other controllers;

I am brand new to learning and playing american truck simulator and i am having a lot trouble setting up the logitech f710 wireless contoller (the f710 works exactly the same as a xbox 360 controller, so don't tell me i need the xbox 360 controler, because my f710 works fantastic with all my other games that require the use of the xbox 360 controller).

Ats key bindings are the custom config to map controller to keyboard. At the main menu of the game, i was asked if i wanted to use the controller in place of the mouse. Drive your truck in this amazing simulation game.
